Chicken kebab is a very tasty grilled food where chicken pieces are marinated in special spices and then deep fried, grilled on skewers or cooked in tandoori.

This chicken kebab recipe is prepared in many ways, many fry the marinated chicken instead of grilling it and it tastes heavenly too.

Let's see how to make chicken kebabs

Materials

. 0.5 kg chicken cut into medium pieces

. 2 pcs eggs

. 2 tablespoons flour corn flour

. 3 tablespoons of kebab powder

. 2 tbsp chili powder

. 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

. 1/2 cup yogurt

. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste

. Salt

. 1 teaspoon vinegar optional

. Oil


Method 

Prepare the chicken:

1.Wash the chicken meat well and pat dry.

2. Make holes in it with a knife.

3. Grind the garlic and ginger to a fine paste in a blender.

4. Then keep the ginger-garlic paste aside.

5.Then start marinating the chicken.


Make the marinade paste:

1.Take a mixing bowl and break the eggs into a bowl and beat them well with a spoon.

2. Mix well with all the above ingredients except salt, chilli powder, kabab powder, ginger garlic paste and chicken.

3. Make a thick batter by adding enough water little by little.

4. If the paste is too thick you can add more lemon juice or little water.

5. Once a thick paste is formed, taste the marinade and then you can add more ingredients as per your taste requirement.

Marinate the chicken:

1. Next take the chicken in a bowl.

2. Make sure there is no water in the meat.

3. Also excess moisture in chicken or curd can make it a bit difficult to make kebabs with chicken.

4. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well until each piece of chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.

5. After marinating, cover the chicken well and keep aside.

6. Marinate spices must penetrate every pore or slit of the chicken.

7. Cover the container and refrigerate for about 3-4 hours.

8. Do not skip this step, as this 3-4 hour marinade is critical for the flavors to penetrate the chicken. If you don't have enough time, freeze it for half an hour.


Make chicken kebabs:

1. Heat cooking oil in a heavy bottom pan.

2. Dip each chicken piece in batter and fry in hot oil.

3. Deep fry the marinated chicken until they turn red.

4. When frying do not add too much chicken to the pan at once, fry in small batches for best results.

5. Allow the chicken kebabs to cool, drain excess oil with kitchen paper towels.

6. You can also grill the marinated chicken well in tandoori or oven.
